A distanza di poco più di un anno dallo svolgimento del Convegno internazionale di studi «Logica, Informatica, Diritto», (Firenze, 6-10 aprile 1981), organizzato dall'Istituto per la Documentazione giuridica del Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, sono stati recentemente pubblicati - in lingua inglese - gli Atti, in due volumi, dalla Casa editrice North-Holland Publishing . Company di Amsterdam. Il primo porta come titolo Artifidal Intelligence and Legal Information Systems ed è stato curato da Costantino Ciampi, direttore di ricerca del CNR, il secondo Deontic Logic, Computational Linguistics and Legal Information Systems è stato curato da Antonio Anselmo Martino, professore dell'Università di Pisa.

I curatori, distinguendo per grandi temi nell'ambito degli argomenti delle varie Sessioni, hanno raggruppato i contributi prescelti, in modo da presentare coerentemente lo stadio attuale della ricerca nel campo dell'informatica giuridica.

Merita ricordare che i numeri monografici della rivista «Informatica e diritto» - a cura dell'Istituto (tomo I, 1978; tomo II, 1979) e dedicati alla stessa tematica del Convegno - in certo modo hanno fornito l'occasione per il più ampio dibattito che ne è seguito. Riproduciamo gli indici dei due volumi degli Atti.
